Tertius. This is the most intriguing blog I’ve read in a long time,. Written with wry humour and a light handed touch. Its been read by 1750 clotish rugger blog fans, who probably expected the usual gungho opinionated slush from the same old sports blog writers. Only five so far have found the words to respond

Mundundu, please! Don’t judge all South Africans by my example. I tried to convey the idea that I was not the typical SA rugby player – I’m sure most of them would have had no problem with the snow.

Pieter, thanks for taking the time to give some constructive (!) criticism.

If anyone is interested, we won the game (which was against some bouncer-looking types with goatees and tattoos) quite easily.
