We cannot sit back and watch our beloved country degenerate to anarchy and hate. Ours is a and cannot be democracy a lot died for,and unfair for upstarts like Molema and his ilks to think that they are all and above law. Zuma and his supporters are to blame for this. He is in power due to same thugs, and he has been quite when pronouncements were made to have ‘blood in the courtroom’. Similar arrogance and thuggery was evident in Polokwane and other forums denigrating Mbeki and those perceived anti-Zuma tsunami.
Our leaders and civil servants go on courses and indabas at the drop of a hat. In fact, they’re often too busy to do their actual jobs. So here – FOR FREE – is a short course every one of them should go on:
1- This is your country
2- As the ANC you got 70% of the vote
3- You no longer need to break anything to prove a point, and remember: When you stir trouble, you are setting fire to your own possessions
4- “Youth” ends long before 35yrs of age. At 17 you need to start growing up and being responsible
5- You do not have to like your servants, nor whiteys, nor foreigners, but you do have to have them around (in your own interests, and hey! so you can jol while they work. Revel in it)
6- Allowing your own things to deteriorate or run down is dumb – things must be maintained. So use those “other people” – previous governments did! Also use NGO’s: they’re willing fools
7- Ignoring the poor masses is seriously dumb and could come back to haunt you and hurt you
8- Trevor and Pravin make LOTS of money. Use a lot of it for making the poor grumble less. There’ll still be lots to spend on yourselves, and you’ll get to play for longer
-9 Democracy is an irritation, but when you fall out of favour or grow old it’ll be quite handy, so don’t weaken it
-10 Actually instil that discipline you’re always talking about
-11- Hey! You’ll actually like yourselves more if you deliver!
i was wondering when the reactionary forces will go julius and i not surprised at leave malema alone you bloody hypocites
One wonders if the consequences would be the same if he were of another political persuasion.
If the man, and i use the word loosely, has trouble with English then perhaps he should use another medium.
Mr. Malema was merely expressing ANCYL’s support for ANC President, Comrade Jacob Zuma. The point here is clear: the youth will not take it lying down as a section of the media and some ANC leadership orchestrate moves through the judiciary, with the ultimate motive of blocking Comrade Zuma from taking over the country’s prsidency next year. That this conspiracy is in existence is crystal clear! Malema is simply expressing the youth’s awareness of these evil machinations, thus sending a warning that there will be consequences. Those attacking Malema are uttery insincere, burying their heads in the sand and pretending all is well, when they know the opposite is true.
If Malema says “we are prepared to kill for Zuma” does not mean exactly that, how are we to interpret anything he says. I presume now that he says they are not prepared to kill, it doesn’t neccessarily mean that!
He is a child in a mans body.
Its disturbing to hear such nonsense from someone who regards himself as a leader. I would suggest that Malema go and attend introduction to critical thinking (DOH 102) and Media, Politics and Society (ELL 101) courses.
When I read Malema’s comments, apart from being shocked by them, I had to check again that it was Malema and not Mad Bob from across the Limpopo making another one of his blood-thirsty statements. Did Malema attend one of Mad Bob’s courses in “How to make blood-thirsty statements”? Malema, jy is ‘n regte mampara!!!
Malema is nothing other than a brain mad person. The ANC must remove him as soon as possible. If he wants to take arms he must go it alone.
this is directed at Malema and his cronies. “Bring it on BOY, we are ready for you”.
@ Charles Choti et al. The good book teaches us to first remove the rock from your own eye before you can tend to the grain of sand in your brothers. Why are you so scared to let JZ go to court to prove his innocence? if he is innocent, nothing will happen, and more people will start to believe in him and his intentions. Or are you still from the Mugabe baboon-type who believes everybody is equal before the law, although some are more equal than others? Africa is his own worst enemy. Denounce racism, denounce hatred, denounce undemocratic elected leaders, denounce corruption, denounce violance and start to act against these fools propogating the above. The upside is a situation that will make Mugabe’s Zim look like a school picnic.
Malema is right- we will not sit by as the media nd their allies orchestrate a campaign to discredit comrade JZ. We are not stupid as you have led yourself to believe and yes there will be repucusions for this american style ambush of our leader. We say what we want to say when we feel like and don’t need some neo colonialist to advice us. This is Africa and it’s our land. you can save your intelligent viewpoits for BUSH and BROWN- you dirty pirates
Julius Malema: A disappointment
When he first joined the race for the leadership of the ANCYL, Julius Malema was welcomed with open hearts. This was because the people who voted for him thought that he represented a change within the youth league. He epitomized the emergence of fresh ideas and the vibrancy that is necessary to advance the ideals of the ANC.
His utterances at the recent rally in the Free State, paint a bleak picture of an immature and reckless young man who lacks political education. Had he been willing to learn from his mistakes, we would have said there is hope for the young lion. His arrogance and unwillingness to learn will spell his demise.
No wonder, no one wants to be associated with a rogue who want to incite people into violence and anarchy, undermining the rule of law and the sanctity of our constitution.
If nobody will stand up and condemn his words for the destructive nature that they are, we will live to regret having such mediocrity for a leader.

I do not blame Mr Malema because Mr Malema did not start it. he is only repeating what has been said before.
In an earlier post when some sections of South Africans attacked fellow foreigners I tried to present the whole episode’s link to the internal politics of South Africa. Why I did that was because the whole thing was a latest chapter in a rebellion against authority of the state. From some violent strikes, the virgils outside of the court house, the booing of the then party President, the embarrasment of the State President, pronouncements against judges, the behaviour in Polokwane. In a nutshell I was laying part of the blame for the violent nature of the conflict on the dissonance and conflict within the ANC.
In all this I was trying in my own way to highlight the ANC and the tripartite abuse of their role as the dominant intelligentsia in the state.
Mr Malema intended that his idea become a popular two fold idea. When in Zimbabwe ZANU PF says should we lose they will be war. It is to incite their supporters and put fear into those who do not want war to back down from supporting the opposition.
The tragedy is Mr Zuma who seems to have learnt nothing from the “anonymous” people singing Umshini Wami which belongs to the ANC of Polokwane, of Malema when they were killing foreigners. The South Africans at grassroots need to be fed with better utterances by whomsoever has their ears.
The disruption of the youth league congress in Bloemfontein are not yet forgetten. This clearly indicates the frustration held by ANC youth membership during the congress when they did not want to elect Malema to the Presidency of the organisation. This is because they predicted that irresponsible statements was be achoed by Malema. The experience they have is from the days when Malema was at Cosas in Limpopo. He gained popularity by being militant. It also clearly shows how some people are so shortsighted about President Zuma. He should no better that the ANC is not about Zuma but is about collective majoriy. The likes of Malema must start to shut up about the personal affairs of President Zuma and concentrate on the affairs of the ANC.

When theguy from BBC talked about “no more mandelas” media didn’t interpret it literally, why, because it suits them, when it’s Malema it must interpreted literally. Tha’s typical of south african media. They talk up about context, when it benefits them(their backs are against the wall). Talk about objectivity
@muntu
A good point you made. “you can save your intelligent viewpoits for BUSH and BROWN- you dirty pirates.”
That infers your points are not.
Or are we to have another bout of “I didnt mean what I said” intelligence.
Is that Kenny from South Park?
Don’t blame Julius Malema becuase he is just a mere gullible pawn in a sophisticated political game which is far beyond his comprehension given his level of academic exposure. The blame must be put squarely on Zuma’s doorstep because as a father and the most senior leader at the rally on the 16th June 2008, he dismally failed to rebuke Malema. Malema is on his way out of the ANC.
Does this mean that in the unlikely event that JZ actually ends up in court and is found guilty our ANCYL leader will call upon his organisation to take up arms because he and many others like him have no respect for the law.
This type of behaviour must be stamped out immediately. If a government or party official no matter who he or she is, is been investigated for a possible crime the media has every right to divulge whatever information they gather and inform the public of their findings. It is my right as a tax paying member of the public who pays their salary to be allowed access to this information.
ANC members must withhold their membership fees until they get leaders of quality. Individuals like Malema are making a mockery of the organisation. He must be removed from his position and placed in the nearest garbage bin because rubbish such as this should never be allowed to address an opinion
The Youth League is the Mitochondria for political education and development albeit Julius Malema utterances reflect leadership that is devoid of substance and equanimity of the brain.Mr Malema “mend your speech a little lest it may mar your fortune”William Shakespeare. To win the political battle you should fight with your head and win with your heart.Rise above the political gravity. What is the difference between Malema and Mugabe? The answer is age.what is their similarity?
Tthe “duck and dive” act of the ANCYL representative in the SABC TV2 interview with Vuyo Mbuli the other morning was hilarious. We need more comedy slots like this to get the day off to a good start. It also solved the mystery of where the senior ANC members honed their “lie and deny” skills – in the ANC kindergarten.
It is unfortunate for Malema to have been the one who said it. What he said has nothing to do with killing and taking up real arms, I understand himas saying they will do anything possible to prevent JZ from standing trial withthe intention of losing the case. It is in the same context as asking if he aws getting away with murder when he has killed no one. The people he was addressing understood whathe was saying and only those who went to the rally fishing saw the statement as their scoop. I wish the likes of Tutu, de Lille, Zille were once members of the ANCYL so that they could understand the concept.
Nope, it’s Kenny from Cape Town.
It is with great disappointment that the organisation, or its surrogate (Youth League), that is the custodian of the values enshrined in our constitution, seems to have veered off course.
In the previous government, the National Party stood by the spirit & the letter of the law, including the value system of love, trust & respect amongst those of its tribe (of apartheid).
At least they were honest to their cause of white supremacy, as well as inferior status accorded to the lives of those who did not belong to the tribe whose needs they ensured would be satisfied.
With the advent of the new democracy, the lives of ALL South Africans are protected by the Constitution, both black & white, ANC or non-ANC, including those in the ANC who might be viewed to be ‘neo-liberal’. Furthermore, the separation of powers between the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary, let alone, a leader of a Youth League is sacrosanct to the continued credibility of the threatened Judiciary. Should any of the Judges of the Constitutional Court be struck through a violent act, now or after they rule against the wishes of the Youth League, and as expressed today by Zwelinzima Vavi, those of Cosatu, surely the blame should rest on their shoulders.
The alliance fought for the liberation of the oppressed (including democratic governance), and all the ideals of the current Constitution, therefore they CANNOT undo what they have put im place as checks and balances, simply because they feel on they love might fall foul of the Law.
Let us imagine for once, every organisation or person,, would take out arms in direct attack of the judiciary (like Malelma & Vavi), THEN, the police, prosecutors, magistrates, and judges would be ‘fearful’ of performing their duties as they should, BECAUSE their lives would be in danger, if they ruled otherwise on prominent cases, where the threat was real.
I hear all of the ‘noise’ made in response to the Malema statement- it will not help to advance the concept of the rule of the Law.
A police investigation that would result in the Judiciary demonstrating its capability to defend the Constitution against the likes of Malema & Vavi is the ONLY answer. This would maintain an environment whereby all on the value chain of upholding democratic governance, do so WITHOUT fear or favour.
My challenge is to Civic leadership to lay that charge that would result in the abovementioned scenario.
It was recently suggested that the recent xenophobic attacks were the result of absence of civic leadership, and failure to exercise leadership in various forms of its existence. Now is the time to exercise THAT leadership.

I think most people understand that Malemela is thick, inarticulate, uneducated and engaging in dangerous but empty rhetoric.
This, however, is not the case with Vavi! He knows exactly what he is saying, and knows precisely the impact of his words. Unlike Malemela, he is not shooting from the hip. It is really scary when he, too, very deliberately affirms that “we are prepared to kill for Zuma”.
To proclaim that I will lay down my life for the good of another, is an admirable thing. Indeed it lies at the root of Christianity. To kill “for Zuma” is not remotely the same as laying down your life for Zuma (unless you are some kind of crazed terrorist).
The only moral (and legal) justification for killing for Zuma, is to protect Zuma’s life from an immediate threat. It would be brave and honourable to do that for any innocent citizen under imminent threat, no matter her social status.
Zuma’s life is under no more threat than that of other public figures. He is well protected by a coterie of bodyguads—probably more protected than most of us. The only threats facing Zuma are political and judicial in nature: he might loose the presidency; he might be jailed by the legal system.
Vavi knows this. Why does he so deliberately engage in the rhetoric of killing and laying down life?
I believe that Vavi’s words are calculated to create fear. He knows his own power to deploy toy-toying unionists down the streets of Jhb in the event of unfavourable court rulings. I’m sure that he will do this. In the name of democracy, he will create a climate of intimidation, maybe a few trashed dusbins and broken shop-windows in downtown Jhb, maybe a police confrontation in which someone gets hurt or killed. Then he will say: The workers went overboard. The system upset them. They love Zuma so much they are prepared to die for him and to kill for him.
Vavi is a master strategist. He has been a key player (if not the key player) in engineering the ascendancy of Zuma. His words are not idly spoken, as are Malemela’s.
If challenged now, of course he will simply turn around and say: “I am only speaking metaphorically, illustrating in theory my love and dedication to my leader.”
Don’t be fooled. Vavi loves himself only. Zuma is simply his instrument. I find the (unelected) man scary!
I can’t see any difference between the young unemployed Zanu -PF thugs and the young unemployed ANC Youth League thugs. Both are prepared to kill – but are they prepared to be killed? I doubt it – they are so arrogant in their self assurance.
As for the mantra “Justice delayed is Justice denied” – even the dumbest of our electorate know that it is only Zuma himself with his appeals (all of which he lost ) who has delayed justice.
Thembani
He can’t do any of those courses – this brilliant leader of the Youth League could not even pass grade 9, even though he attempted it twice. How the standards of the ANC have dropped!
Lebohang
He does not lack potitical education – he lacks ANY education!
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore–
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over–
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
The deferring dream…(a SOLUTION 4 all of us Sulky, Sad & Tired South Africans)
“What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?…Or does it explode?” Forgive this letter’s length but it is merely a reflection of the frustrations of a multitude, the cries of generation.
In April 1993 a man called Chris Hani was gunned down. At the time I was one of the few privileged black pupils at a Durban Model C primary school. Though it seems that our nation particularly those younger or older than a certain age seem to have collective amnesia regarding the bloody, desperate days before our first free election but for those of us who were the guinea pigs of non-racialism, the “Mandela Generation” we remember those twilight days of Apartheid all-too clearly. A few hours after the news of Chris Hani’s murder our teachers cancelled our lessons and ushered the entire school, staff and pupils out onto the sports field. We were instructed to form Grade-specific circles and told to hold hands and pray for peace. Eventually we ended the short ceremony by singing a song about “Peace in Our Land.” Despite the teachers telling us a brief explanation that “someone important had died”, none of us pupils really knew who this Chris Hani was or what he stood for. We knew it had something to do with politics because in the urgent days before April 1994 just about everything had to do with politics. Yet despite our youth, despite our naivety we got the impression, realized, knew and understood that something bigger than us was at stake and as the weeks and months unfolded we got the impression and understood that something fragile and great was about to be created; the new South Africa. Fast-forward to the year 2008, xenophobia, shoddy education, shacks, corruption, crime, unbridled AIDs, political stabbings and a generally faltering country and I think most South Africans can agree (and yes occasionally South Africans can agree) that something has gone wrong. It is now the morning “After the Party” and we must ask what has happened? Did people like Hani die to create a nation sustained by ARVs and protected by ADT?
The dream, fellow South Africans, has become deferred, and one of the biggest makers and deferrers of that dream was undeniably the African National Congress. Let us not blame the ANC too much though, the fault lies with us. Our own myopic petty-minded political interests made for politically watch out for our own race, class and sex. The ANC was built beyond this and won because of this, at least initially.
This is letter for all politically-interested South Africans which given the impact politics has on us means all South Africans. If you love the ANC, this is opportunity to help it grow democratically, if you fear/hate the ANC this is an opportunity to help subdue it democratically, ultimately if you love freedom, stable freedom, give an ear to this letter .
What kills so many young African democracies; the lack of effective Post-Liberation Movements and the lack of politician-proof institutions. Africa and currently our Zimbabwean neighbors bare testimony to this. In isiZulu it is said a “thorn can only be removed with a thorn.” Like the ZANU-PF in Zimbabwe, the “non-racial- a better life for all” ANC was once one of South Africa’s most inspirational political organizations. Today, it is suffering and we are suffering because from the time of liberation until now there has never been an equally non-racial, in touch opposition with the same visionary gravitas the ANC once had.
South Africa’s democracy is slowly choking. Before we wake up too late and form an MDC at the eleventh hour, we the people of the Miracle Nation, particularly the resourced, must give our democracy CPR. This is a clarion call for all talented and patriotic South Africans with vision in their pulse to form a credible, truly non-racial, non-class-based opposition, non-populist party that can better South African democracy and bring about the next level of “freedom” and turn the page on history. Below is a summarized manifesto of what this effective Post-Liberation Movement should run South Africa and itself.
• It should orbit its policies around fostering; stability, accountability, multi-industrial innovation, economic relevance, meritocracy, constitutionalism, unbiased and unrestricted rule of law, responsible civil service, example-based morality, spirituality, world-class education and sustainable (health as well as environmental) development.
• It must understand and promote that the family is the nexus of society.
• It should (regardless of their age) attract the Thinking Classes or those who are high-minded South Africans. Despite emigration South Africa still has members of the ‘Thinking Class” such as Moelesti Mbeki, David Feinstein, Mark Shuttleworth, Desmond Dube, Khanyi Dlomo and Clem Sunter.
• It must make clear that liberation differs from governance.
• It must not blame colonialism, 3rd forces and imperialism for its failings.
• It should promote non-racial, non ethnic, non-sexist, nation-building and this includes having a new poverty-based BEE system that regularly monitors for racially-discriminatory and gate-keeping mechanisms by racist employees yet also takes into account the fact that not all blacks in South Africa are previously disadvantaged and that judging a person on the color of their skin and not their human potential is not what this new South Africa or serious free-market society has ever been about.
• And even though “we are one”, this Post-Liberation Movement should, like a good parent, understand that different racial/ethnic/gender/religious groups sometimes have their different worries and these should be individually addressed and not ruled out as “whining.”
• In the spirit of the African Renaissance it should promote, side with and link up with other fellow-minded parties and Post-Liberation Movements across the Limpopo.
• This movement’s foreign policy would also include calling for a revamped tetrarch-based African Union; one for democracies, one for stable dictatorships, one for those dedicated to good governance regardless of democratic credentials and one for the likes of Mugabes or Kleptocrats. This new AU would meet in fourths and voting power would be allocated in terms of the stabilizing effect that leaders are having on their region and importantly their country.
• A foreign policy that sponsors the grassroots-promotion of the rights and responsibilities in the enshrined in the African Charter to the masses of Africa.
• This foreign policy would be mature enough to understand that sadly most of the “big men” in African are not ready to give up their positions but it would hold them to account on what would be a more flexible, first-step criteria; administration and economic growth (the China model)
• The Post-Liberation Movement’s foreign policy will not brook those who destabilize regional security AKA Robert Mugabe and Omar Bashir. And will deal with them on all levels.
• A foreign policy that sponsors activists who strive for a freer, better Africa such as Mo Ibrahim, Femi Kuti and Wangari Maathai.
• Despite being Africanist, this Post-Liberation movement should understand the importance of national sovereignty and border-control.
• It’s campaigns should be funded through publicly disclosed lobbying (no arms deal type backdoor deals)
• This Post-Liberation Movement should sponsor mass-media freedom (such as in-touch local Television Channels particularly those that analyze politics even the Post-Liberation Movement itself)
• It should promote civil society, meet and debate with it regularly. These debates and meetings should be nationally televised to test the mettle of the Post-liberation Movement.
• It should promote and call for open, accessible campaigning plus understand and respectfully promote the value of diverse opposition, credible parliament and the use of greater direct democracy such as that in Switzerland.
• It must remove the toeing of “party-lines”, reject “conference-elections” and endorse internal debate so that it can be in synch with the robust democracy it promotes.
• It should aim for technocracy within its administrative ranks and jobs-for-peers.
• It should eliminate proportional representation, conference-voting and call for direct representational elections, primaries and debates like in the USA. One person, one district, one vote. No one should be “representing” in parliament without a constituency.
• It should promote greater use of regular (national and local) referendums (on issues as well as office bearers), grassroots democracy and set timetables for delivery where it shall answer to the nation at nationally televised gatherings and town-halls.
• It should build and promote politician-proof and politician-watching institutions. Such as a respected judiciary oversight-bodies (the Scorpions and the like.
• It should have senior leadership that displays behavior that understands that sexual and moral laxity means and has meant for our country particularly, by our wayward youth.
• It should understand that a country protected by community policing, Trellidor and ADT is no longer a country, but a 90’s Somalia and it’s citizens no longer have to pay tax. No taxation without protection!!!
• This senior leadership must be obliged to communicate with its constituency through fireside chats, tours and various communication means.
We must fight and help create this PLM by Blog, broadcast, petition, paper and eventually ballot. We must grab hold of this slipping dream, halt its deference. God Bless South Africa, God Bless the Dream, just like then, anything is still possible in SA.

I think Malema learned from the best, Fikile Mbalula. He’s as arrogant as he is.
If i was to write a book about Zuma & Malema are just an article, it would be:
“Bring the machine gun to kill for Zuma”
It’s just like a machine gun, what do you do it in this day & age?
This is Zuma’s people and he needs to fix this mess and Mantashe’s statement in response to what Malema said was very lame.
It’s no wonder i’m not member of the ANCYL nor the ANC.
Why do I have to join when I might be forced to take a machine gun and kill for Zuma, or worse – even be killed for having failed to do that?
All this bull about a conspiracy to block Zuma in becoming the president of the ANC and later of the country was created by a few in the ANC who felt sidelined by Mbeki and his allies, and actually got what they wanted, inclusion in the NEC of the ANC. Zuma has tried in every opportunity to block the law from excercising its course with the numerous appeals, blocking the scorpions from accesing the diary in Mauritius and so on, and we stll get demagogues/fools like Malema and Vavi who are threatening and undermining the justice system in this country and these people are supposedly to be our leaders. Vavi might be leading the most powerfull trade union in this country but he is very much replaceable. In fact its concerning that Cosatu has been quite in Vavi embarking on ANC in fights while millions of his constituency are battling are battling to get even a minimum wage from their respective employment sectors. Malema is embarking on a game that started before he was born, have no clue what the rules of this game are, who are all the players etc. My advise to him is to development his leadership skills, learn when and what to say to whom and when and stay out of trouble.
@ Thabo
Amid all the doom and gloom your post shows that there are people out there who really care about this country and all its people. Congratulations
cde malema now you really need a verbal editor and you are really immatured i should humbly say so now i’m a confused on the true essense of leadership. He is a misrepresentation of the youth of South Africa and sounds like a pupulist politician who is ignorant of the reality around Zuma and his Trial, the law and the procedures of the Judiciary; If i was in the executive of the ANC or rather the ANCYL i would make sure we get rid of ignorant and arrogant holligans like Malema. The boy is bad new for the progress of the African people, especially the youth in South Africa. Its now on the wall he and Vavi are just opportunistic leaders who are using the Zuma trial as a plartform to advance their political ambitions. The ANC does not need this, neither do the people of South Africa, the Youth movement does not deserve such a bad representation and the democratic people and youth of South Africa deserve some respected and should not be emotionally bullied by this Holligan. This goes without saying, i am a Zuma support on the political level, but thinks the Youth movement needs descipline
i arge that the youth of this country must not learn anything from the hooligans like tht malema and vavi bcz those peaple they can’t peak they just vomit words.look at that Zwelinzima Vavi is confidently repeating what Malema said to show that it is true they are prepared to kill. Vavi said they are prepared to shoot and kill, what is that? If we
look to these people that are in the executive of ANC now they are destroying our organisation especially Vavi, mbalula and Nzimande. They are so rude when they are treating things inside the ANC wher’as ANC is not belonging to them. It is true that ANC has got Two camps and that will never end.
but you cdz vavi and malema you’ll will die alone for that zuma yah i don’t dout him is a president of ANC and he will remain like tht without taking arms and kill but lets hope is not going to be remate controlled by this young lions and THAT SACP
After the Limpompo ANC conference, there were talks of forming an institute for political education and leadership within the ANC. I applauded that and felt it was an overdue constructive intervention considering the pace at which the ANC and its rich history is loosing credibility at the hands of its own leaders, Mr Anton Lembede rest in peace. Can Gwede Mantashe send this young man back to high school to learn some basics in leadership. No wonder young people dont bother going to the polls anymore.
Someone once said “Everything must change, nothing stays the same”. It is unfortunate that the ANC constituency is allowing the negative change we are seeing in the organization to continue.
As for this Malema fellow, let him know that, I and many others, are willing to lay our lives down too to ensure justice prevails in this our beloved country called South Africa. That we too, as did our leaders in the struggle for our liberation, are ready to defend “justice for all” by all means necessary.
Thabo Mngoma – I like your thinking. Let us know how we can help make this happen. As much as I hate politics and never thought I would get myself involved beyond casting my vote, it is clearly time for me to change my stance and help improve on what the liberators our country achieved for the nation.
Mankind will never see an end of trouble until… lovers of wisdom come to hold political power, or the holders of power… become lovers of wisdom. ~Plato, The Republic
In truth I trust.

I have laid a complaint with the SA Human Rights Commission to deal with Julkius Malema / the ANCYL’s threatening and criminal utterances. If the SAHRC does not deal with it effectively I will approach the High Court for appropriate relief before those who are threatened by his / their conduct reacts and their supporters experience the serious intent of people (the vast majority of South Africans) who are intent to protect and uphold Constitutional freedoms, principles and values.
I think the country is becoming a laughing stock to the rest of the world, you have people like, Charles Choti, making comments in the forum, what is wrong with these people, is it due to lack of education or just living in La La land when you can agrre with comments such as Melema’s and think it is alright. The government and its people do not give two hoots about crime in the country, (lets disband the Scorpions) it is ordinary law abiding and tax paying citisens who have to suffer. Come on SA, i have been living in the UK for a couple of years with the intention of moving back home and bringing my valuable skills with me, but with every passing year, it looks more like a Zim situation on the cards. South Afica, it time to find leaders that will lead and not incite vilonce and a reversal of apartheid
unfortunately our country has gone retarded. what is it that our great leaders fought for? was it to slide into the civil war and corruption that many other african countries have gone into? as a youth i’m scared that just as my parents did, i too am going to have to fight. but this time i don’t know who my enemy will be. it may even be myself. julius: it’s better to keep quiet and look stupid than open your mouth and prove everybody right.
Our country is drowning in human blood, crime is a friend of the majority. The country is now left with one ear because the other one was damaged by screaming sound from our children wanting us to save them from rape, crime, violance. But we seem to want to damage the only ear left by bringing in leaders that I regards as false like Julias Malema. He is young, but already tired. I don’t know his background but I would not be surprices if he came from a family of murders OR if he was one of the kids that blew the countries ear drum.
His actions and words are taking us back to the way we us to struggle. At that age, he should be building his career in leadership, what a chance he’s missing, because of his dump and crippled charactor. Mandela please say something, your kids are rotten, Malema is crying for help.
I live my life in disbelieve, I wonder why we fail, is it because we are black OR what? But no its because the minority put foolish people like Malema in power.
Eish…….I’m getting emotional, I’m going to stop here….
it’s not our country that has gone retarded phumlani it’s the people in charge in the government who have let their egos take over what their proper cause of being in those positions are.
from the ludicrous statements malema makes he doesn’t make himself sound very clever. perhaps it’s because he doesn’t think before he speaks or maybe he doesn’t think at all. to say “we will kill for zuma” is a form of hate speech and goes completely against the constitution. julius, what ever your education it seems you have failed it or you just missed a lot of your political science lessons on diplomacy, peace and what building democracy and equality in a country is all about.
tisk tisk what a shame
he is on a power trip and no one is calling him into order,if malema is my president then i resign cope is my new party
julius malema should practise what he preaches and look into the racial behaviour of the freemasons towards their workers in pretoria this would keep him very busy and really have something to crow about
why does everybody worry so much about big mouth racist julas. who is he ? what is his claim to fame? what is his education level ?another bush war veteran who mouths off constantly to get attention , uses racism to get headlines. please he is nothing and will never amount to anything either. if either of the current sa government were in a first world democratic socoiety they would be beggars on the side of the road. i wouldnt waste my spit on either of them.corrupt, thieving beggars the lot of them good luck SA you gonna need it, before plunging down the big black hole to meet zimbabwe half way there already.
ther is nothing wrong with what Julias said, the media only intapret it wrongly, julias malema is a true leader, he is not afrait to speek his mind, he is the man, those words dint indicat any kind of violence ,you just took it the other way around fools, LOVE U A LOT JULLY ,U R MY ROLE MODLE….4rm masechaba
Come on Lorraine, you sound just like your hero Julius. The man is a laughing stock and should not be allowed to hold a position in any party or organisation. He likes playing the race card at every oppurtunity. He is one of the few black people who is and will benifit from the new SA. Start voting for people who are capable of running the country and putting something back into society and not there own pockets.
Juls is SO PATHETIC. He is the biggest racist in South Africa. The LUNATIC only carries on like this for the attention. There are so many decent black and white people in SA. Juls get used to it you are a clown and white people are not going anywhere and YOU WILL NOT get rid of us. Keep calling us whitey because we are proud of who we are Blacky!!! Get a life moron
