My mother worked for a law firm, so that really solidified my passion to get into law. Thankfully Wits determined I was a bit stoopid for law (is that possible?) and did instead steer towards the BCom (garden variety). Truth be told, if I had to do it all again, I wouldn't do it any differently. Thanks for the article. Brought back memories of my own December stress of the cruelest place on earth..... Mind you, there is nothing scientific about it and its politics can be conveniently massaged to fiot teh current political climate. besides, with thsui degree you could get just about any leading job, like minicipal manager, CEO of water affairs, etc. being political with the right slant means that you are RELIABLE, unlike these racist white engineers, accountants, and doctors who will emigrate after getting their degrees.
