Wow!!! Cigar smoking HIV denialist… This goes right back to the misquoting Sentlese was talking about. If you’re educated and have any form of logic you would know exactly how to intepret the statements he made. Our current ANC president, in the midst of a struggle against HIV, openly sleeps with HIV +ve woman without a condom.. We all know the details. What conclusion should one draw about that. The truth is that Thabo got his moment and it has now passed. Should we now allow a man who is forever being dragged into court for fraud and otherwise, convicted or not, represent us internationally? Is that who we want as our ambassador? Unfortunately when you’re at the highest echelons of leadership you just cannot be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Both these candidates are not good for SA.

The Cigar smoking HIV denialist, was recalled from office by the legitimate NEC elected in place democratically by 60% of the 4000 Polokwane delegates, unless I don’t understand the word coup. Your loyal stance on Mbeki is very worrying. He (Mbeki) also sacked people like a night thief from their offices with a view to achieving his selfish objectives.

Those who could not accept the outcome are kicking and screaming for help; come November 2nd, we’ll all be keeping an eye on the last kicks of a dying horse, like many other infant un-cheerful departures, this is not different.

the call has been made:kill for zuma,we are expected to accept that reprimand was done,not publicly but in private….let the anc bury itself,we know at least it is not the anc of yesteryear,it is the reds in black,gold and green,the new party is an opportunity to get back on the right path.

I watched his on TV and his prophecy that the earth would be covered with blood !
I have never forgotten those chilling words. I assumed it to be an uprising against Apartheid perpetrators.
I now have to wonder, with ethnic tensions rising, are we going to have a tribal war?
Kenya never expected theirs.
Are we going to suffer their fate with the same government of sharing power?

That is besides the point. My problem is that Thabo Mbeki is forever being misquoted. At this instance, that misquote gave Jacob Zuma the chance to give Thabo Mbeki a lecture on how things ‘are done’ in the ANC and to many people presented Zuma as taking the ‘high road’ by refusing to air dirty laundry in public.

I like and agree with your point of view on Thabo Mbeki. However, if we are going to mount a proper defence against these parasites, who are hell bent at destroying Mbeki’s shining legacy, we need to shoot with the truth and have hard facts as our main arsenal.

It is wrong to insinuate that Thabo Mbeki askes for a public debate against Jacob Zuma. Thabo Mbeki did not do that. In his final affidavit, Thabo Mbeki said:-

“I was never asked to resign as President of the Republic until
Nicholson J’s judgment was handed down. I ask this Court’s
indulgence that I do not, in these proceedings, address matters
which are the subject of political debate. I am ready to have a
debate with the First Respondent regarding the alleged reasons for which I was asked to resign as President of the Republic, which
reasons were never given to me. However, I firmly believe that such
debate belongs in the political arena.”

At no point does Thabo Mbeki say that such a debate should be in public.
