Apparently there were 'systemic' issues at play that made the relationship between the NDPP and the minister 'difficult'. A bill would be tabled before parliament in the near future to deal with some of these 'systemic' anomalies. Since Pikoli is not fired yet, pending the outcome of the investigation into the matter, I personally await the reasons advanced for his dismissal, should it go that far.
