First and foremost why is it that we as people are quick to pointed fingers without finding out the actual facts behind the story? Kanthan i hear what you're saying on this issue and it's very nice to finally hear your side of the story and not the constant Bull the we are being fed in the newspapers especially those Sunday papers.

The problem (according to me) lies in the standers of Journalism that we are witness to. For example what the number 1 read newspapers in S.A? Last time i checked it was Daily Sun.... And what about the stories they publish in that newspaper... doesn't that tell you anything. I'm happy that the CEO of an every influential medium within the media sees the problem now the only thing is how does he ensure that his company staff are not subject to this cheap journalism?

DJ FRESH INCENSED OVER CRACKHEAD ALLEGATIONS

Johannesburg - Thato 'DJ Fresh' Sikwane is said to be consulting with his lawyers over allegations made by Kanthan Pillay, CEO of youth station, YFM.

Writing in the Mail & Guardian online Thought Leader, Pillay made allegations of misconduct by certain YFM personnel, prompting their dismissal. Pillay made mention of "...drunk and disorderly, or a crack-head, or incompetent..." deejays that were fired.

Speculation has been rife as to the reasons for the exodus of top YFM deejays, including Sikwane, who left for SABC station 5FM. Sources close to the youth station have confirmed that Pillay had been effectively running YFM incognito since February 2006 and was the main instigator in asking Sikwane to 'resign or be fired' over his alcohol and drug addiction.

Damn, that took me all of 10 minutes to write. This journalism thing is a breeze.

I hope someone at The Daily Sun is reading...
