To be honest, I might have beaten Nick Leeson his $1,3-billion trading loss, but then, that’s not what I do for a living.
I have driven the wrong way out of PE and ended up in Grahamstown, when I thought I was heading for Cape St Francis. By the time I’d realised I was going in the wrong direction, I was too scared to do a U-turn on the road; it was the dead of night and all those whizzing taxis and buses checkened me out!
But yes, there are plenty of days like that.
