Charlene; I am particularly moved by your wonderfully frank and compassionately written article about this scourge that would not speak its name. Long before your own tragic experience I was a passionate reader of your columns and I was profoundly shocked by that incidence. But the courageous way you dealt with it publicly raised my respect and esteem of you beyond description. THis brought up for me the fact that women who are physically abused also require the same care. My daughter suffered abuse and took a long time and much cherishing to recover.

Mpumelelo, Mathe belongs on the end of a rope with his feet in the air, nothing less. Someone needs to investigate the psychologist as his testimony is shocking and unrealistic. Charlene, keep up the excellent work you are doing espacially the continuous publicity you are giving this subject. Too many South African men need much help in this department.
